The second event of “KIMINITOU” will be held on March 14.

The music industry has suffered an unprecedented blow from the Coronavirus crisis.  The “business restructuring subsidy of approximately 1 trillion yen” within the third supplementary budget approved on January 28, 2021, is may become a foothold to break through this predicament and save the music industry.

In this “KIMINITOU” event titled “Operation: Save the Music Industry from the Coronavirus Crisis! – How to utilize the 1 trillion yen”, we invite the following 4 guests to discuss specific ways to save the music industry using the subsidy:

-Musician Taiji Sato: Organizer of the solar-powered rock festival “THE SOLAR BUDOKAN” in 2020, and

– Musicain KIYOHARU: Founder of his live streaming channel  “A NEW MY TERRITORY”, which opened the door to new forms of expression amidst the Coronavirus crisis.

– Mr. Umezo Kato: CEO of the Loft Project, a live music club that continues to promote live music culture in Japan.

– Mr. Keisuke Murakami: Director of Management Support Division of Small and Medium Enterprise Agency in the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and also the organizer of the aforementioned “business restructuring subsidy”.

The event will consist of a talk and live section.
Through this event, we hope to provide you with a chance to experience an atmosphere where new ideas are created through the interaction of people with different positions but share similar goals.

The event will be broadcasted on the day of the event, so please take this opportunity to participate.
